News: 70s Sci-Fi on Netflix

As noted in the post below, I happened to notice earlier this week that Space: 1970 staples Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers In The 25th Century, Star Blazers, and - um - Galactica: 1980 have recently been added to Netflix's Instant streaming program.

I'm not shilling for the company here, but I thought that U.S. readers with Netflix subscriptions might like to know.

  1. And there's also KOLCHAK THE NIGHT STALKER, STAR TREK: THE ANIMATED SERIES, STAR BLAZERS, THE INCREDIBLE HULK and a nice selection of Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker DOCTOR WHO shows. I suppose you could add in GODZILLA: THE ANIMATED SERIES too.

  2. Aw come on, Christopher--you know Galactica 1980 was pure excellence. :)

  3. I liked Galactica 1980. I know it was terrible, but it was fun. I always thought of it as Chips with Flying motocycles. Heck they even brought up Chip in an episode.
